Biel/Bienne, CH.

Year 2002. Montres Antima SA, in Biel, was a true full-service power house. From Design and PD to prototype developers and jewelers. Marketing, engineering and R&D, all sitting under one roof. Spending a decade in this environment and working with industry professionals on world leading in house and license watch and fashion brands was nothing but a dream come true.

  • BaselWorld.

    People familiar with the biggest watch & jewelry fair in the world, will know this visual. Unmistakable roof detail of the BaselWorld. 15 years of participation as an exhibitor for multiple clients.

  • Workshop.

    Spending years in Biel, in a workshop and learning the craft from watchmakers helped establish love for the product and respect for craftsmanship and quality of execution.

  • Fun.

    Form study, proportions...balance. Advanced product design completed the circle and horology became the way of life. 24/7 design cycle. Mission: lead design by innovation.

  • Production.

    From in-house prototyping to some of best manufacturing facilities, high-end components and movements sourcing, no day went by without a new challenge.

  • La chaux-de fonds.

    Serenity of La chaux-de fonds, known as "Watch Valley", the place where it seams like time has stopped while very same is captured by skilled watchmakers and their timepieces. Century "young" and only getitng started.

    From Bienne to La Chaux-de-Fonds, from Geneva lake to Swiss Alps, Switzerland with its tranquility, was always going to be the best place for watch industry to thrive. Best place to learn the craft of watches.

Brooklyn, NYC.

Year 2012. Joining Movado Group Inc. in their North America HQ to lead design division and identify opportunities while maintaining the heritage and identity of all in house and license brands. Often trips between Switzerland and NYC opened up new chapter and new ideas.

    Moving to NYC. As fascinating as Swiss Alps, New York skyline had its own magnetic force. The city know for its energy, became a source of inspiration.

    Authentic. Unique. Inspiring.

    With a watchmaking background, building custom motorcycles in NYC was equally fascinating - its mechanical nature sparked the idea to create something unique during bike hangouts.

    During this period, working with top tech companies revealed how advanced materials and design can merge to unlock bold new possibilities.

Always fascinated by the energy and vibe of the West Coast, 2019. was the year of the antrpenirial dream beginning to materialize with the move to Los Angeles. Quickly, the foundations of Lumma Project were put in place and creative process begun to
